I’m Alex Rickard, a Sussex portrait photographer based near Haywards Heath, specialising in professional headshots, business portraits, personal branding, and school prospectus photography.

I work with businesses, professionals, and schools to create natural, confident portraits that enhance branding, marketing, and communications. My photography style is relaxed, people-focused, and tailored to each client, with clear guidance throughout the session so you feel comfortable in front of the camera.
Services include professional headshots, business and team portraits, personal branding photography, conference and event coverage, and photography for school prospectuses and websites. Sessions are available at my home studio in Ardingly (just outside Haywards Heath) or on location at your home, school, or workplace. I work across Haywards Heath, Sussex, Hampshire, Surrey, and London.

Choose from mini headshot days at Freshmill Serviced Offices in Haywards Heath, studio sessions at my home studio in Ardingly, or on-location shoots at your home or workplace.
Business Portraits
As a business portrait photographer, I create modern business portraits and corporate photgraphy that go beyond a standard headshot. I work with business owners, teams and organisations to produce professional, natural images that feel approachable, credible and on-brand. Ideal for websites, annual reports, marketing materials, internal communications, and corporate branding.
Sessions can take place at your workplace, in your home, at my home studio near Haywards Heath or I can suggest locations for outdoor portraits.

SCHOOL PROSPECTUS PHOTOGRAPHY
School prospectus photography has become my forte, blending my passion for children’s portraits with commercial photography. I work with independent and state schools, colleges, and universities across Sussex, Hampshire, Surrey, Kent, and London to create natural, engaging images for prospectuses, websites, and marketing materials. I also provide staff portraits, ensuring every aspect of your school is represented professionally. My aim is to deliver photography that showcases your school at its best and supports your communications and branding.
