A Spring Family Photoshoot near Crowborough

The first family photoshoot near Crowborough for me! I’m based in Ardingly but I’m happy to travel to you for your photoshoot and Crowborough is only half an hour away.

As is often the case, we started this shoot at the family home and then went for a wander nearby to get a wider variety of pictures.

I always like to take individual portraits of children as well as pictures with their siblings. This tree in their garden was a great spot for portraits and provided a little shade from the May sunshine.

Swings are great for children’s portraits – we’re always guaranteed a laughing shot. Dad had given his son an extra big push just before this one!

This lane was just next to the family home and was a great spot for pictures. We took Bruno the dog with us too. Dogs are always great on photoshoots, they always become the centre of attention and make everyone more relaxed.

The children with Bruno, I asked them to squat down so they were on his level and it makes a better landscape picture.

We spotted this gorgeous cow parsley spotted in the verge on the way home, I love the colours with her blue dress.

Most parents tell me they haven’t had their pictures taken professionally since their wedding day so I love to capture you together. Due to contrasting colours of their clothing this image worked especially well in black and white.

I often sign off with a walking away from the camera shot – it always looks good on the last page if you purchase an album.
