Creating natural family photography and capturing children’s portraits that will be cherished for generations brings me immense joy, making my work as a family photographer incredibly fulfilling. Based near Haywards Heath in Sussex, I’ve had the privilege of photographing hundreds of families over my ten years in business, primarily in the beautiful Sussex countryside where we’re fortunate to reside. My journey in portrait photography takes me throughout Sussex, Hampshire, Surrey and London.

Step 1: Session Fee £195

The Session fee is payable in advance to secure your family photoshoot and includes:

A relaxed family photoshoot either at your home or on location

Guidance on how to prepare for your shoot including information on what to wear

An online proofing gallery including over 60 beautifully edited images for you to purchase separately.

Step 2: After the shoot choose from one of the following options:

After you have seen your images you are welcome to purchase a wide range of products including prints, frames, albums and digital files.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT MY FAMILY PHOTOSHOOTS IN SUSSEX

WHERE DO YOU WORK?

The majority of my family photoshoots take place in Sussex but I’m also happy to travel a bit further afield; such shoots may require an additional charge to cover travel time and expenses.

WHERE WILL MY SHOOT TAKE PLACE?

I can come to your home or we can find a mutually convenient location such as a local park, woodland etc. I’m happy to photograph virtually anywhere as long as I have permission to do so.

WHAT IF IT RAINS?

If it is pouring with rain let’s re-schedule. I am happy to shoot in all other weathers though – cloudy daylight is actually more flattering than bright sunshine! I’m also usually pretty time-flexible on the day so happy to alter the time according to the forecast.

HOW LONG DO I NEED TO ALLOW FOR THE SESSION?

Sessions tend to last between one and two hours. I am generally led by your children; I’m happy to keep photographing as long as they are enjoying themselves.

WHAT IF SOMEONE IS ILL?

I’m happy to postpone your session if someone is ill – sick children do not make happy photos. Please let me know as soon as possible if you think you might have to reschedule.

Do you have a studio?

I prefer natural family photography and photographing families outside and therefore I don’t offer studio photography for family photoshoots.

CAN WE INCLUDE OUR PETS IN OUR FAMILY PHOTOSHOOT?

I’m more than happy to include your pets – they are an important part of the family too!

DO YOU PROVIDE BLACK & WHITE PHOTOGRAPHS TOO?

Most of my images are colour but I do provide a selection of black and white images too, depending on what works best for each particular image. If you’d like to see a particular image in black and white once you have seen your pictures just ask!

HOW MUCH DO FAMILIES USUALLY SPEND?

Families usually invest between £495 and £2,000 on their digital files or printed products after their session.

CAN WE BUY DIGITAL FILES?

Yes of course! Digital files are available to purchase after your shoot. You will be given permission to print from them and to share for personal use.
