Have you considered having your Headshot Photography shoot at home? Here are some examples!
Sam is a Food Historian, writer and cook who is based locally to me near Haywards Heath. She has a new book coming out n November 2020 – ‘First Catch your Gingerbread’. (Edited to add, I was meant to help Sam out with the food photography for the book but was unable to due to Covid19 lockdown). Anyway, Sam got in touch because she wanted to update her headshots for her bio pic and of course I was happy to help her out.
We decided to use Sam’s kitchen as the backdrop. I took the pictures using a long lens to blur out a lot of the background on her images which gave the images a cleaner and more generic feel. Being at home meant it was easy for Sam to have an outfit change half way through and the shoot was very relaxed – just give me a tea or coffee and I’m happy!
